In this thread we discuss design issues. For the start, I'd like to discuss wether or not we want an own logo and how we want to use it.

I propose the following:

To show our international aspect, we combine the SCP-Logo with some sort of globe. A stylized globe for small logos, the globe of the UN-flag and UN-blue for big logos.

The small logo I propose can be seen in the top-bar of this O5-Wiki, while the big logo can be seen on the start page.

Though there are more logos to choose from:

Please post in this thread if you are fine with this, want another logo, an own draft or are against an own logo.

Also instead of the reddish-top bar we could use a blue one. Though there are two possibilities:

As for the logos:

- For the small one, I think the one already there should be ok: all the other ones seem too graphically complicated to me to be fully appreciated on a logo so small as it is.

- For the bigger one, I already find pretty and appropriate the one already there; however, I could also like the number 3: both have the bluish tint, both are elaborate enough to be appreciated with the mesure they'll be given.

As for the top bar, I'd definitely opt for the one already there, mainly for the resemblance to the one on the original SCP webpage. Also, the second one seems a bit too semplicistic for a thing so big.

I like the first logo. It's simple, and doesn't look like the UN logo as the current one does.

For the color I think a ligher blue would be better.

Guys, you are having 3 votes: small logo, big logo, header.

I vote for
Small logo: 1.
Big logo: 5. as I think 1. looks to heavy for a big logo (if you all think we need more less-UN-like options, more options can be added)
Header: 1. (the darker one, which has the same brightness as the original)

Logo: I like all of them, except 4 and 6.
Header: I vote for a dark blue one.

So the result is:
Small logo: 1
Big logo: 5
Header: dark blue

If and Primary Contact is not content and wants to enforce a major vote, please place your veto within the next days (I plan to apply the changes on Sunday or something).

It has been done.

If a Primary Contact whishes to repeat the vote, they may veto to do so.
