Chat: characters allowed for nicknames
Right now we are having users on the chat whose nicknames contain or consist of non-roman letters. The problem is, that these users can not easily be pinged by everyone. Though you can select them from the list typing just "@" or select them in the user list, but this is inconvenient.
Also you have to ask how to call them if the nickname is written in unknown letters.
What should we do about this? I'm seeing the following options:
- Only latin letters
- The nickname must start with enough latin letters to easily ping them but may continue with any characters.
- No restriction
- Something else (please specify)
